Having more than one battery is almost a requirement. Most starter kits now have two batteries. This way the smoker can use one battery while charging the other. Chargers can fit on the USB port on the user’s computer, or utilize a car charger.
E-cigarettes have an LED on the tip that glows when it is being inhaled. There are different colors to choose from. Orange or red is the most popular because these look like a real cigarette. Green and blue are also common. Units with red LEDs are often mistaken for the real thing.
E-cigarettes produce water vapor in varying amounts. Often the amount of vapor can determine whether or not the smoker gets satisfaction from their experience. More is usually better. Some inexpensive models may not produce enough vapor for many users.
Flavor is another big part of the smoking experience and e-cigarettes offer a lot of variety. There are the usual menthol and tobacco flavors, but fruit or other flavors can also be found. Some people refill their cartridges with ‘e-juice’ to obtain a specific flavor.
The bottom line, of course, is price. Inexpensive e-cigarette starter kits can be found for a little under twenty dollars. More expensive kits can be as much as two-hundred dollars. The price of refills must also be taken into consideration. Finding the right fit is very important, so no money is wasting on trying different brands.
